The Salamander Beak easily attaches to any helmet (kayaking, biking, horseback riding, etc.) and stays there, even in the most demanding situations. It also flips up out of the way when needed. You might also check out the Salamander Revisor which is slightly smaller and lower-profile. The Beak measures 9.75″ wide and the depth of the bill is 3″.

The 2027 version is totally redesigned to fit perfectly. No exchanges, no hassle. The side panels are made with a special poly/spandex that will fit a wider variety of body types per size. That, and we made them slightly longer to accommodate a wider variety of heights. Happy Hiking!
